The Allavino FlexCount II Series VSWR172-2SR20 Dual Zone Wine Refrigerator with Tru-Vino Technology features a convenient 24" wide cabinet that can be used as a stylish freestanding unit or built into your cabinetry for seamless wine storage.
Protect and preserve your wine collection with the latest innovation in wine storage technology by Allavino. Precisely set your desired temperature with the easy-to-use digital control panel and trust in Tru-Vino Temperature Control Technology to protect your collection through consistent temperature maintenance.
Allavino's exclusive FlexCount wine racking technology cradles bottles and is designed with vibration-reduction technology to protect aging wines. This unique shelving design allows for ultimate flexibility and versatility when it comes to storing a variety of bottle sizes and shapes. Easy gliding shelves allow for easy access to your collection without disrupting the delicate wine maturation process.
The VSWR172-2SR20 features 12 shelves that can hold up to 11 bottles each and 2 shelves that can hold up to 20 bottles each for a maximum bottle capacity of 172 bottles. The maximum capacity can be reached with many different bottle sizes and is only affected when adding in larger Pinot or Champagne bottles. Store both red and white wines with this dual zone unit, which features a digital display with easy-to-use push button controls that allow you to easily adjust each zone's temperature.
A clear digital display with user friendly push button controls makes setting and monitoring the temperature quick and easy. Once the ideal temperature is set, exclusive temperature control technology maintains temperature with near zero temperature fluctuations.
Allavino is at the leading edge of shelf design, incorporating revolutionary metal shelves that are strong enough to hold bottles without sagging, yet thin enough to maximize the available space in the cabinet for wine storage. Wood slats refine each shelf and gently cradle each bottle to prevent harmful vibration from affecting your wine. Each shelf is finished with a stylish stainless steel front to match the door frame. Each of the shelves glide out smoothly on ball bearing tracks, so every bottle is easily accessible.
The intelligent design of the shelves creates more space between each shelf, allowing you to store bottles with varying diameters without having to remove racks which would reduce your overall capacity. Click on the Features tab above to see how your specific collection can be stored on the FlexCount shelves.
This unit is front-venting, and can be built in to your cabinetry for a seamless look. It also has finished sides and top, allowing you to use it as a freestanding unit that will look great in any room of your home. A built-in security lock protects your collection, and two keys are included so that you can always have a backup on hand.
Internal fans circulate air inside the unit, reducing initial cool down time and preventing drastic temperature fluctuations that could be harmful to your wine.

Great Wine Fridge and very good Value
by: | Todd (04-04-2019) los altos, ca. 94022 |
Comments: | We had a 50 bottle wine fridge and the unit worked fine but was very hard to use. It was a Kenmore and the shelves were very difficult to pull out as well as they were not very deep. We found we could only fit about 30 bottles in it at any time. My wife wanted to upgrade and we looked for a long time with most decent units pricing out around $2500. A critical feature we needed was shelves that were smooth to pull out, on rollers or ball bearings . We also wanted a quiet unit and one with shelves DEEP enough to put two bottles in depth wise. This unit arrived and we LOVE IT. Quiet, sleek looking and works perfectly . The shelve are a dream and my wife was so excited she wished we had gotten it years ago. Every time my wife takes a bottle out of this fridge, she says "ahhh" instead of "^%&^^%$" the damm shelves don't work." Its a great unit at any price but an EXCEPTIONAL unit at this price ! Wow |

Good unit, maybe not for expensive wines
by: | Patrick (03-16-2019) Atlanta GA |
Comments: | This is our first large capacity wine cooler and are so far pleased with it after 5 days of use. The shelves are good and solid, and allow for easy placement of varying bottle sizes. Some of the real larger ones, I have turned the labels toward the sides as they do just barely scrap the shelf above. The unit is placed in our Dining room where our old 30 bottle unit sat. It is fairly quiet, but louder than the old unit when the fan kicks on. We have an open floor plan from the Dining room to the Living room, so I do hear it running, but it's not annoying. I would say though, that if you have expensive bottles that need to be kept at a steady temp, then this unit may not be for you. I have noticed some, what I consider to be, large temperature swings. I have seen the temp display ready 50 degrees and then 55 10 minutes latter. It dose seem to keep a steady temp of 53 which is where I want it. To keep the red wine temp, the lower section, set to 53, I have to set the thermostat to 51. Since you have to have at least a 9 degree temp difference between the upper and lower section, the upper section for our white wine is cooler than what I originally set it for. So far, I am happy with it with my simple wine tastes. |

Good but could be a little better.
by: | Rex (02-19-2019) Phoenix, AZ |
Comments: | The cooler is very nice. Well made, and the shelves slide very easy with almost no labels rubbing. The temperature isn't as stable as I would hope. The cooler seems to fluctuate sometimes up to 5 degrees and that isn’t good in my opinion. I have 125 bottles inside so it should be more stable but I see on the cooler WHITE side 5 degree fluctuation and the RED side only about 3 degrees change. The compressor seems to be quiet but you know when it is running, it isn’t loud but you can hear some fan noise. I have had this unit only 2 weeks but so far it seems ok. |

A Beautiful Peice of Functional Furnitur
by: | Bob (12-14-2018) FL |
Comments: | product cools precisely. I've put a thermocoupler in both zones and it reads less than 1 degree variance. The shelves slide in and out with ease and don't bow or sag when all the way out and fully loaded. The only small minuses are that it is a bit louder than what I read in reviews. I read "whisper quiet" and other such remarks. It is not loud, but it is a little louder than my home refrigerator. It is beautiful, well crafted and comes very well packed and it performs beyond expectation. I'll keep it forever! |
Bottom Line: | I would recommend this product. |
