For optimum performance and warranty coverage, the 1800XT-HE must be installed in a properly insulated, airtight wine cellar with a vapor barrier.

Recommended conditions and sizing assumptions:

• R-19 insulation or better
• No glass walls
• Vapor barrier installed on the warm side
• Ambient temperature of 85F (sizing assumption)
• Access to fresh air from 40F to 95F (condenser air)

CellarPro engineered the 1800XT-HE cooling unit to provide powerful cooling capacity with moderate noise levels to be used in large wine cabinets, and in difficult conditions like unconditioned spaces (95F max) and commercial use. 1800XT-HE units are louder than CellarPro 1800QT-HE units, but also 26% more powerful.

All air-cooled refrigeration equipment requires fresh air intake to dissipate the heat generated by the cooling unit. The fresh air intake CANNOT come from the wine cellar space - it must come from space outside the cellar. Designed for indoor use only, 1800XT-HE units can operate in environments ranging from 95F to 40F out of the box.
