Silhouette Features
Cutting-Edge Temperature Management System:
This beverage center boasts a cutting-edge temperature management system. Superior fan-forced cooling removes the risks of interior climate fluctuations and inconsistencies, while the advanced airflow system efficiently dissipates heat to considerably improve the longevity of the cooling system. The purest level of refreshment has been perfected in this refrigeration center. Each temperature zone can be individually adjusted using a digital control panel, allowing you to set the temperature as low as 39°F or as high as 64°F depending on your storage needs.
Low E-Glass Coating:
Low E-Glass also known as low emissivity glass coating helps filters harmful UV light sealing the cold similar to a thermostat lining. The extremely thin layers of safe and low emissivity materials used in this unit reflect interior temperatures back inside, keeping your drinks properly chilled and protected.
Lock Your Luxuries:
Protect the wine you're properly preserving behind a durable safety lock and key system. This exclusive access allows you to rest assured that no unwanted guests will get into the goods you're chilling, without gaining your permission first.
Zero-Clearance Hinge:
The redesigned hinge and door frame allow the door to pivot away from the cabinet when opening and closing. This improvement makes for a flush fit built-in application with zero interference with the surrounding cabinets. Consumers will love the seamless integration.

I was so excited to finally get a wine fridge. Everything about this Danby DWC1534BLS is really nice, except there is no way this is gonna hold 34 bottles!! In truth, it's gonna hold maybe 1/2 of that. Unless all the bottles I have are of exceptional size, you will average about 3 bottles per shelf. Any more than that, and there starts to become issues with opening the drawer slides. Except for that phenomenal bummer, it works well. Quiet, easy to change door sides, cool blue light, and maintains temperature. I don't know if all the other wine fridge companies fudge their numbers too, but make sure you ask about any of them.

quiet, efficient, fits perfectly
Barry
The unit came as promised, in excellent condition. Plugged it in, slid in into the space where the old one had been. Within minutes the temp was dropping, came down to 41 in about 3 hours. Very quiet. Only drawback, as others have mentioned, is that large diameter bottles like champagnes and some chardonnays are a tight fit. The shelves are loose enough to squeeze them in, though. No tighter than my previous unit of another make.

new fridge with a broke light switch
Nick
The cooler works well but is a bit noisy. Excellent appearance. Have only had it for 24 hours. Don't know how to desk with the defective light switch. Should have been tested by maker before shipment. The dimensions at the base were larger than specified so had to alter cabinet.

Way cool Wine cooler
Susanna
My Danby wine refrig is sleek, silent, and adds a great touch to our kitchen. It fit perfectly where our trash compactor used to be and it was a snap to install. Plus, how can you beat the free shipping. Holds plenty of bottles and is so convenient! This was definitely the way to go - we couldn't be happier with it.

Arrived within a week in perfect condition and exactly as described
Installation very easy
Wine was cooling within an hour of turning the unit on.
Looks great in my kitchen.
Replaced an unused compactor unit with a simple widening of the under counter space. So much more useful and better looking
